JJ Snowflake

Good Morning to all you wonderful crafters out there!
With Christmas right around the corner, No don't yell at me it is only 4 months away  I have decided I need to get busy and start my Christmas cards now.  It is even a bit later then I wanted to get started but at least I am getting to it.  LOL  So today I am posting for Festive Fridays and the Outlawz,    We have a challenge each week and we have 4 themes from which you can use to make a card from.
The Tag you need to use when your enter the challenge is  092217
  This week our themes are:
1.Lets go fishing
2. A hunting we will go
3. Favorite junk food
4 Christmas
So,  yes this week I chose Christmas again so I can start my collection towards Christmas.
Here is the image I chose to work with from Bugaboo our sponsor.  You can find all the images your heart desires here at the Bugaboo store.  I do hope you will pop over and check out all the sweet images they have for you.  So without further ado here is Miss JJ in her Snowflake.

I hunted for my Christmas stash of materials as they were buried in the closet yet.  I love this paper so this is what I picked to use.  The image was colored with copics.  The sentiment is from the same paper pack as the paper and is from Recollections.  I went to Michael's last year after Christmas an picked up a couple of packs for this coming year.  Love those 1/2 off sales.  I love to make envelopes to match my Christmas cards so that is what I did here.  I added 2 gems to the sentiment for bling.  Other then that I like the plain and simpleness of this card.

I want to invite you all to come play along with us at Festive Fridays and have a chance to win some wonderful digi stamps by Bugaboo.  I hope to see you there. So till then Happy Crafting

Sweet Kitten

Good Morning everyone.  Or Afternoon which ever it is in your neck of the woods.
Today is my chance to Remind you of the Challenge going on over at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  You can find the challenge here in order to join and I do hope you will hop over and take a chance to win some images from Sherri.
She is a wonderful artist as you can see by this sweet kitten that she has in her shop.  She has thousands of images to choose from.  You don't have to use her images to join in however.  But if you want to go take a look to see what wonderful images she has the Esty Shop is here.  This image is 330 and can be found in the shop here.

I colored this one with my copics (yes they are my go to medium)  The background is one of the many watercolors that I have done to use with my cards.  I decided to just cut the corners and not do to much to this card so that the image takes center stage.  The little enamel  dots are some that I made here at home by melting Pony beads in the toaster oven.  The ones in the store are pretty expensive so since i use them so often I had to find an alternative to buying them.  I found the video on how to make my own from Utube.  Love that Utube you can find anything on there.    The ribbon for the bow is from my stash.  The Just For You is a Creative Die cut.

I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out my part of the world here in blog land.  And I hope you will leave me a comment as I do read them all and do appreciate everyone who stops by.
So everyone I want to say so long for now and happy crafting to you all.  Till next time then!!

Handmade flowers

Welcome to my world.

Today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge.  Our theme this time is Handmade flowers.  This theme is right up my ally as I love flowers and have quite a few stamps and die cuts from Heartfelt creations.  I also use their shaping tool for my flowers.  It really does help make them look more real.  The hardest part for me  is trying to decide which flower would work best on here so I decided to keep them small and simple.  Sitting and making flowers for me is so relaxing.  Ok enough about that lets get to the card and the challenge.  I do tend to go on and on.

This image is is Img 0006 and can be found in the Esty shop here.

Sherri has so many wonderful images to choose from so grab your drink an have some fun.  I love digital images easy to download and easy to store.  I do use some rubber and acrylic stamps but not many.

I colored her with my copics and t love how she tuned out.     I love to color and do color most days a little bit anyway.  The flourish behind the flowers is a darice die cut and it is really pretty versatile.  The blue background paper is a piece I cut from a wall paper book.  I didn't really have any thing that looked oriental so I used this.  The centers of the flowers is a pearl pen in bright yellow I love the look it gives.  I did put some glitter glue on the edges of the flowers but you really can't see it in the photo.  I do hope you like my card and will leave me  a comment.  I do read them all.

So my crafty friends I hope you have a wonderful week and until next time Happy crafting all.!!

You Are The Best

Good morning to everyone out there in Blog land.
Today is posting day for my Design Team for Festive Fridays.
The tag you need for your entry is 090817
This week we have 4 new Themes for you to choose from:
1. Best Friends
2. Card with Books
3. Card with Red
4. Christmas

I chose the Best Friends theme and this is the image that I chose from Bugaboo Stamps who is our sponsor.

May I introduce to you "YOU ARE THE BEST"

I just love this image.  Reminds me of my best friend and I.
An she truly is the best friend a girl could have.
I colored this with copics and mounted it on Orange with shinny dots on it although you can't really see them in the  picture and then added the yellow ribbon.  Once I got that done I decided I need some bright background so hence the Yellow card stock and the black brads.  The base card is black as well an as always I decorated the inside of the card like the outside with Yellow and White.
I hope you will make a card and come join us for a chance to win some Bugaboo digital stamps.  I use a lot of digital stamps as they are so much easier to store then traditional stamps as my space is limited.

Well everyone I hope to see you all at the challenge and until next time Happy Crafting.

Hi everyone, I hope your having a great day and a wonderful week.  Today I am posting a reminder for our challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  Our theme is die cuts and punches.  This little lady can be found in the Esty store here

I fell in love with this sweet girl and had to color her up.  I actually printed her full size by accident but colored her and will frame her for my girlfriends craft room.  I did the other one in different colors tho.

The die cut I used is a spellbinder and the punch I used was a fiskars heart punch.  I colored her with my copics and the gems are from the craft expo from years ago.  (I think I sorta over bought stuff and am still using it years later.  LOL)  .  My polka doted background paper is a scrap and the paper under that is a scrap of water color background I have made and put a said to use as they fit the theme.  I popped the image up with a piece of craft foam to give it some height.  I punched the word Love out in brown and orange to make it look like it had a shadow.  The punch is a EK success punch that was bought for me by a good friend.

I hope you will come play along in the challenge with us for a chance to win some wonderful images by the very talented Sherri Baldy.  You can find the challenge here

So till next time  Happy Crafting.  Have a wonderful day.

Sunflower girl

Good morning to you all.  Today starts a new day for our Challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society.  Our theme this time is die cuts and punches.  I have used both with my image The die cute is the lacy circle and the punch is the edging on the card.  This image is Img 830 and you can find her in the Esty shop here.
I love how she turned out and will use this for a birthday card for a friend.

I colored her with my copics and just used a piece of water color paper for the circle behind her.  I have been having fun making some different colored background to use on some of my cards.  They are fun and so easy to do.  The first  embellishment is the bow that I made with my new bow maker. Then I decided that it needed a little bit more bling so I added some pearls to the die cut around her.  I wanted to keep her simple as she wanted to be center stage.

You can find our challenge here.
I do hope you will come play along with us, we have some great Images as prizes and you will love them.  Sherri is an wonderful artist and wow trying to decide what images to buy is so hard.  So go take a look around the Esty shop and see what you can find and come join us. You don't have to use our images but you do have to follow the theme.  Everyone has die cuts or punches so go gather your supplies and share with us your creation for a chance to win.
I hope to see you there.

Till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Monochrome Style Image 086

Good Morning to you all.
It is a wonderful sunny day here in  South Florida.  We have had a lot of rain here though but we need it.
Today I am posting a wonderful image that I did for Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog.
The Theme this time is Monochrome.  I fell in love with this image as it reminds me of my sister.  I colored her hair gray and she has gray hair.
So with keeping with the theme I used gray's and white.  The background paper is also black gray and white.  The flowers I made special for this card using my heartfelt creations classic rose and flower shaping kit.  If you make these kind of flowers the flower shaping kit is a must in my opinion.  I couldn't make them look like this other wise.  I chose black leaves because the background was white and the green was not in keeping with the theme.  I really love how she turned out and I hope my sister likes it as well.  I will send it to her as a happy day card. (they are in the mist of a major renovation and she is a clean freak.)
I would like to invite each of you to come join the challenge at Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge Blog here.  So this is your reminder that there is still time to join the challenge to win some great prizes.
You can find her and a lot of wonderful images at the Esty Shop and I will post the link here for you to get there in a flash to find some great images to play with.

So crafters till next time I wish you nothing but wonderful days for crafting.

Inspiration by Linda "Meet Dragonfly"

Hi everyone.  Today is my last day to inspire you for Ching-Chou Kuik Stamps.  For the team it is anything goes for a theme.  I decided to go for my most favorite image from the many stamps that she offers. I love Dragon flies and have tons in my back yard a lot of the time.  I do hope you will go play in the challenge this month with the theme of "Monochrome".  I posted my card for that theme on the 6th so if you want to see that one for ideas then you will have to go check it out. You can find the challenge site here.
Now here is my card for today.

I really love how she turned out.  I have colored her in a few different colors but I really like this one.   I used a glitter pen on the wings of the dragon fly to make it stand out but your really can't see it in the photo.  I colored everything with copics and the pink on the back ground is eye shadow my new go to medium for backgrounds.  The eye shadow makes the paper shine also that you can't see on the photo but it is so pretty in real life.  The die cut is a spell binders and the corner gems are from recollections.  I wanted to keep it fairly simple to not take away from the beautiful image.  The green gems are some from my stash so have no clue who makes them.
We have a facebook page as well so I hope you will pop over there and join in the fun as well.
So I bid you all good by from my CCK Design Team but I will still be posting for others.  So please come back and check out my blog from time to time and if you want to keep up with my ramblings then think about becoming a follower and you can see what I am up too.  Thanks  to the ones who always leave me a message and hope you will continue to do that.  So for now Happy Crafting from me to you...

I colored her with my copics and the background of the image is a technique I learned in my coloring classes.  I love how she turned out and I really hope you will come join in the fun at the challenge.  I used some pearls from my stash and some lace to get this look.  I used a cake doily behind her as well and popped her up with foam dots for demention.
We also have challenges on our facebook page if your interested in that.  Lots of inspiration and prizes there as well.  So till next time have a wonderful crafting day.

Blue and Green

Good Morning to you all.  Today is my day for a Reminder for our Challenge over at Scrapbook Society Stamp Challenger and you can find that here

Our theme this week for the DT is greens and blues.  So I did both.  My background plaid has both colors in it and is from Recollections paper pack.  the image was colored with copics and again I chose both colors.  The sentiment is by Stamp-in up and is an old one.  The pearls are from a find at a garage sale where I got a big box of pearls and lace for $2.00.  I love bargains like that, but who doesn't? The buttons are tied with some silver cord from my stash and the buttons are from my stash that I take off old clothes that I turn into rags.  I hope you like my card and will come play along with our challenge.  We have lots of fun there and lots of good inspiration as well.

Till next time have a great Crafting day!!!!

Imspiration by Linda "Gentle as a Breeze"

Good Morning to you all.  Today is my day for inspiration for you.  I am using the image Gentle as a Breeze today.  It reminded me of Spring so I thought it would be appropriate to use for the theme "Monochrome".  You can use any image but if you use a Ching-Chou image you get two chances to win.  She has some wonderful images to choose from and you can find her here in her Esty Store.  We have the challenge for the entire month so you have plenty of time to make your card and join us.  Here is my card for the challenge this month.

I made a Z card for this month for some variety in my card making.  I colored her with Copics and mounted her on Dark brown card stock.  The gold  and brown paper is from a wall paper book.  It seemed to be just the right one to use.  the butterfly is a spellbinders die cut and the tail of pearls is from Recollections. As are the 3 pearls at the bottom and top.
I hope you like my card.  I would like to invite you to come play along with us at the challenge this month. You can find it here. And we also have a facebook page to play along with challenges as well.  Well all that is it for me for today, so I hope you enjoy a great crafting day!!

Rory's Bag of Lady Bugs

Today I am posting this sweet image by Heather Valentine.  It is called Rory's bag of ladybugs.  Of course I had to have it as it matches my blog name.  I have so many of these wonderful little images and had to color this one up.

I used my copics to color her and the background is a new technique I have been trying and I love it.  It is so versatile you can use it with any image. Just change your color scheme  for the background.  I suggest everyone try it.  I found it on utube under water coloring.    My flowers are from heartfelt creations an it is the classic rose. the little ones are some from Michael's that I got a long time ago and never used.  I needed something to match some of the colors in my image so I used those to fill in.   I tried to keep it pretty simple so she would be the center attraction.

I would like to enter this into the challenges  at:
Through The Craft Room Door
Inspiration Destination challenge blog:  3 of a kind  (three flowers the same)
